- mph seems like wonka's magic factory next to the bookstores here which is basically like a vending machine in comparison. yes, they do not have my comic books. no, i do not read manga/doreamon-y/whatever that isn't in english, go figure.
- shops close at 5pm. throwing in another $#@!
- heat all year round is a distant dream chase

a drenched napkin and a soggy sleeve. my first flight which had nothing to do with a vacation was evidently going to be a long one. no accidents involved with the damp descriptions but rather the inconvenient effects of my constant waterworks. guess it doesn't help that being a film junkie, i've committed the "tearing as you look out the airplane window, flashbacking through the memories and people you'd be leaving behind" scene to memory. naturally, all i had to dry my face and stop the runny nose was a tiny napkin that came along with a refreshment. cue intro.

the bright side? getting all watery-eyed flashbacking through a window in a class above economy, :). not to mention the inflight entertainment...

exhibit A - real classic cartoons.exhibit B - no need for words. i am potter fan, 'nuff said.exhibit C - plain statisfying.

anyways, a very belated THANK YOU to all who were involved in the departure, whether in form of posts, e-mails, texts, calls and presence, it was much appreciated! so, instead of stating the obvious by listing down missed companies, missed things would be instead.

pet peeves:-

1) when you set your alarm clock and forget the am/pm detail. you then curse, wondering why it didn't go off in the morning/night and find that it does go off the exact time, just at night/morning.

2) icky aftertastes. good food is good fun but sometimes when you're just not feeling so good, a burp irrupts out spreading the smell causing nausea. orrr, just the taste alone is left in your mouth after a long period. gross fact, yes i know.

3) forgetting what one wants to say. ahhhh, how a tiny fact can cause you to go berserk. 'nuff said, i'm sure you've felt it before.

4) uncontrollable eyeteeth. we are only human after all? well, when you don't know how to estimate the exact portion of food you want and end up with an amount you think is satisfying, think again. wanting to puke your guts out would be and understatement for a pictured outcome.

5) deletion with no warning or confirmation. let's say you work hard on a project/video game/photoshopping a picture only to find out when you press exit and blank for a second, you accidentally hit the 'no' button for saving. and *poof* it's all gone.

6) shopping assistants sticking close. this doesn't apply to all though, i mean if you're sincere and just trying to do your job, i think it can be done without breathing down your customers neck, i'm just saying. but if you're the 'show me the money then you stay' creatures, i think we'd have more fun annoying you by staying.

7) everything in 3-d. yes, eversince avatar, the word three-dimensional can be heard everywhere you go.

8) facebook profiles without at least a picture to show who you are. no need for a camwhored collection, just one to see whether you might be someone known. still, if you have some genuine reason why you don't, then that's fine. but having wanting to see who are the people that added you but all you get is a cartoon picture or celebrity hearthrobs is in fact unnerving.

9) entangled jewellery. sorry, it's a personal matter that lost me one of my favourite pieces, but i'm sure many ladies might relate. you remember placing them someplace properly and when you take them out, they're all tangled up and if you happen to be annoyed at that point you yank 'em and they're gone.

10) last minute changes. i guess since being trained by the parents that sticking to a plan is crucial, i've always cringed when i hear the words last minute. not to say that it's always a bad thing, i mean how often do you have parents coming in and saying let's go shopping? when that line practically belongs to us kids.

11) the added letter 'z'/'x' in words. i don't get what's with the words 'wazz up/wuzz up' or a common one 'cox', is the 'x' supposed to be a silent or just a funkified 's'?. still, this may just only be me.

sigh, i guess this whole 'pet peeves list' is a way to stop me from climbing out the gates and catching a cab to watch 'you again' since nearby cinema's aren't even playing it!!*breathes*

- the meal you ordered for brunch is delayed unbeknownst to you, so you unconsciously fill up on your drink til it arrives and your appetite's gone
- when there's an interesting moment you'd like to capture on film, and you forgot to bring out your camera
- when you decide not to buy a magazine but change your mind in the end only to find out someone else took the last copy
- when you try to relax at home after a long day with a certain movie in mind, you find out that it's stuck

so, i'll start it off with a big thank you to daddy and mr.brickboy for the set. bascially, he had to drive me all the way to the gardens for the pick-up. the drive there wasn't as dull as i thought it would be though. apparently, dad's been helping out with the current campaigning going on in klang club. ergo, he had thing's to say, it seems that even men-involved politics is able to spark the i-have-to-bitch fire. however, dad's fashion of letting it out was evidently still stuck in the 80's/90's. for example, "crocodile-skinned'.

-was the center of everyone's mind this friday. it wasn't as bad as it would be next year, but still depressing nonetheless. the bright side? no more waking up to the sound of a machine, slugging it out for an 8 hour duration, and staring at different superior faces with various moods and wants (a majority of 'em leaning towards anguish mind you)

as said, why it's worth missing.

i did say i wasn't going to be waken up by a machine. however, it wasn't long for the boys to take it's place. anyway, i felt like grunge-ing out today. ian and i spent the rest of the morning in the living room

personally i find the living room a perfect place to think and unwind, especially on sunny, windy days. a nice view minus the bars, a comfy couch, music and good company are o.k. by me.

now there's just one problem left to get over

after much pleading and pestering, dad finally gave up and gave into our whims. mine of course having something to do with the spongebob housing area lego set. (i have just been informed that piramid has two boxes left, please-oh-please have mercy and save the last one =D). clearly i have slipped into my second childhood. well, lego has served as a funny kind of solace for me, and what works for you, works right? this was as close as i would get near a butterfly, added that the zoom button was pushed to the maximumthe skies were beautiful, with the photography gear i had, these pictures were as close as i could get to explaining itsigh...the thought of that spongebob set is taking over my mind!
