those were the days my friend,
we thought they'd never end,
we'd sing and dance forever and a day,
we'd live the life we choose,
we'd fight forever and never lose,
for we are young and sure to have our way,
la la la la....
those were the days, oh yes those were the days
do you remeber :-
- the paddle pop rainbow ice cream or the mat kool jelly ones where we'd collect the bulding sticks after finishing with 'em.
- when the acmar canteens used to sell yupi burger jellies.
- not forgetting who was the one selling them, the 'i haven't got all day' crank of an uncle and his life-size dolled wife (not in a barbie sense).
- how we'd get quarter sized blisters from messing around on the monkey bars.
- where we'd go 'oh-yo-yo-tai-tai-si/tai-tai-yo" when someone messes up.
- happy meals were all the rage.
then there were the shows we'd learn to love. (well, most of us anyway)
not forgetting their over-the-waist-less parentscould never figure out if the thing on edd's head was his hair or a beanie. much less if he was even a dude cause of his voice.donnie's missingthe football, ice cream, candy........any ideas?who loves orange soda? k-k-kelll loves orange soda. is it true? mm-hmm! i do, i do, i do-ooh!
